Direct Care Worker (DCW) – Weekends – Avondale, AZ

Pay: $15.15/hour; $15.50/hour with CNA background; $15.25–$15.75/hour with BHT background
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM (two 12-hour shifts, 24 hours/week)
Location: Paris House, a DDD group home in Avondale, AZ
About the job
Project New Generation is hiring a caring, reliable Direct Care Worker for weekend shifts at Paris House. You will support adults with developmental disabilities in their home and community.
What you will do
- Help members with daily living skills and personal care
- Give medications as trained
- Plan and prepare meals
- Lead activities and community outings
- Complete daily documentation
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Apply for an AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card within 7 days of hire
- CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and PROUD training (we can train you)
- Able to lift 50 lb
- If driving members: valid driver's license, an MVR, and your own auto insurance if using a personal vehicle. Otherwise, a state ID is fine.
- Reliable attendance. Clocking in early or staying late without approval is not allowed.
Preferred
- CNA or BHT background
