What you’ll be doing...

• Leading a team of WAE&O Centralized Engineering project managers and a team of system developers to manage major RAN and Home Broadband programs.
• Managing a portfolio of Home Broadband programs and various RAN processes/programs, often spanning most or all regions.
• Working across organizations to plan Open-for-Sale (OFS) and build forecasts for Home Broadband offerings.
• Owning recurring reporting of sales, churn, OFS, and plan/offering updates to the executive leadership team.
• Managing a team of program/project management and technical project management professionals.
• Partnering with Network Engineering, RF Planning, and Engineering Governance leadership to align program plans with capital, capacity, and design standards.
• Establishing and maintaining program governance, status reporting, and risk/issue escalation processes for all responsible initiatives.
• Providing leadership over the POR Systems Development team.
• Overseeing the tools used to manage the RAN Capital Planning Process — including official project counts, equipment allocations, and unit cost reporting — in support of roughly $5B in annual RAN investment.
• Directing the Systems Development team's roadmap to take on development work in support of the new Home Broadband PMO.

What we’re looking for...

An established people leader with a track record of successfully managing large programs. An individual who has worked cross-functionally between orgs to align around common goals. A leader who has managed systems / tools previously. A background in feature development and database management is especially helpful. An individual with strong communication skills, as this role will require regular presentations to senior leaders and communicating across several organizations. An individual who has an in-depth understand of the RAN and our various Home Broadband offerings.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience with wireless network planning and construction processes.
• Experience overseeing software or systems/tool development teams.
• Experience with Home Broadband (Fiber, 4G/5G Home) planning, forecasting, or program management.
• PMP or similar program/project management certification.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $143,500.00 - $275,000.00.

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $157,500.00 - $275,000.00.
