- Develops and executes tax strategies that align with TransformCo''s financial goals, minimize tax liabilities, and optimize financial performance
- Analyzes changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and risks
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all tax filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns, and other required tax-related documentation
- Oversees the preparation and submission of tax payments, estimates, and provisions
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Provides guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members
- Ensures compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Implements internal controls and processes to mitigate tax-related risks and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Conducts in-depth tax research and analysis on complex tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, and international tax matters
- Provides recommendations and solutions that align with TransformCo''s business goals
- Collaborates closely with finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to provide tax-related guidance and support on business initiatives and transactions
- Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
