    Join our Grand team as a Spa Director: Responsible for the overall operation of the Spa and Fitness Center, including high standards in Spa/Fitness services and operations, while maximizing profitability.

    The Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and increase Spa revenue.

    • Understand and analyze profit and loss statements to help budgeting and forecasting.

    • Monitor and control department's expenses and payroll.

    • Participate in the development and oversee the implementation of Spa operating budget.

    • Oversee hiring, training, supervising and evaluating of all Spa staff with assistance of Supervisors when necessary.

    • Attend the daily Huddle meetings at main hotel.

    • Maintain MOD (Manager on Duty) book.

    • Review staff goals from strategic plan.

    • Attend sales functions/ trade shows.

    The Qualifications:

    • Someone who is passionate about people and travel

    • Willing to work weekends

    • LOVES meeting new people and interacting with guests

    • Has reliable transportation to and from work

    • Past experience in hotels and customer service a plus

    • Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience

    • Minimum of 5 years Spa management experience.

    • Luxury hotel experience preferred.

    • College graduate or professional certifications in spa treatments preferred.

    • Prior experience w/ Spa Soft software.

    • Prior P&L experience and responsibility.

    • Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.

    • Must possess good organizational /time management skills.

    • Able to develop camaraderie with team members.

    • Ability to hold yourself, employees, and organizations accountable for their actions.

    • Respond constructively to emotional situations, high pressure and conflict

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

    Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Operations

    Exemption Status: Exempt
