Culinary Assistant
Farmstead Living is currently seeking Culinary Assistants to join our dining services team. Full Time or Part Time positions available. Weekend opportunities. Shifts are as follows:
7am - 3pm FT/PT & 4pm - 7pm PT
Ideal Candidate
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude
- Friendly with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable/dependable
- Team-player
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve meals and offer menu choices to residents in a cheerful, respectful, and professional manner.
- Follow established portion control guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation and meal service as assigned.
- Store leftovers and food items according to food safety and handling procedures.
- Pre-soak, sort, wash, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware.
