The Dining Room Attendant/Checker supports dining room operations by ensuring food items are fully stocked and readily available to students while maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive dining environment. This position keeps service stations replenished throughout meal periods, performs ongoing cleaning of serving and dining areas, accurately records student participation through the customer management system, and handles cash collection when assigned to the checking station.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $20 - $22.99 per hour.
Shift differential is available for eligible shifts, are stackable, and can amount to a higher wage per hour.
• Weekend differential: An additional $1.00/hour
• Evening differential: An additional $1.50/hour

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Requires practice of proper health sanitation. Must physically be able to lift 10-20 pounds numerous times during the day and up to 50 pounds frequently, some items are lifted above waist level. Must be able to push and pull 150 pounds frequently. Requires frequent and repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and turning. Requires frequent walking and long periods of time standing.
