Job Overview:

The Sanctuary of St. Cloud is an affordable, friendly senior living community. We are located near Highway 10 and County 23 in St. Cloud, MN. Our beautiful community hosts 101 Assisted Living and 36 Memory Care apartments. Our residents enjoy worry-free living in a warm and friendly community with services to meet their individual needs.

 

The Dimensions Manager is accountable for implementing the Dimensions Program, encouraging participation and ownership from all staff. Manages and supervises the programmatic, physical and educational operations of Dimensions Community in meeting the resident's/family's needs and expectations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and provides education to staff/families to adequately equip them to interact effectively with residents experiencing dementia.

Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and support staff, volunteers, and students within the Dimensions community.
  • Partner with the Director of Health Services and Executive Director on staffing, employee orientation, training, performance, and development.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, feedback, and guidance to the care team.
  • Support staffing and resource decisions to promote effective, high-quality care.

Dimensions Program Leadership

  • Serve as the site’s Dimensions Champion, promoting person-centered approaches for residents living with dementia.
  • Lead ongoing development and implementation of the Dimensions program.
  • Coach staff and volunteers on best practices, meaningful engagement, and dementia care approaches.
  • Collaborate with nursing and the care team to incorporate resident assessments and individualized needs into care planning.
  • Promote psychosocial approaches such as music, aromatherapy, massage, and other non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Support the Care Partner Support Group and communicate program updates with families.

Resident Engagement & Programming

  • Develop and oversee engaging activities and programs based on residents’ interests, abilities, and psychosocial needs.
  • Create monthly activity calendars and coordinate day-to-day programming and outings.
  • Encourage resident participation while promoting independence and quality of life.
  • Coordinate with Activity Assistants, Resident Assistants, the Activities Director, and other departments to ensure successful programming.
  • Evaluate resident engagement and program effectiveness and introduce new ideas to enhance the community experience.

Resident & Family Experience

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Respond to concerns and monitor satisfaction feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in resident/family tours and support the admission and placement process.
  • Maintain communication with families through newsletters and other program updates.

Operations & Budget Management

  • Partner with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to develop and monitor the Dimensions budget.
  • Maintain accurate financial and program records.
  • Monitor occupancy and support marketing initiatives designed to maintain a strong community census.
  • Keep marketing materials current and coordinate marketing/PR activities as needed.

Transportation & Safety

  • Drive the Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings and ensure a safe, positive experience.
  • Follow all transportation, emergency, infection control, and safety procedures.
  • Complete required vehicle documentation and promptly report accidents, violations, or safety concerns.


Required Qualifications

  • A.A./A.S.
  • less than 1 year
  • Drivers License (in good standing)
  • Must be insurable under the employer’s/communities Auto Insurance Coverage
  • Medical Exam Certification
  • Must be at least 18-years old
  • Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 Days

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts
  • 1 year
