Dimensional Inspector

Inspects for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc. Ideal candidate(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

Dimensional Inspector
Location: North Royalton, OH

Responsibilities:

• Inspects for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.
• Perform visual and accurate dimensional inspections on parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformance with standards and requirements.
• Complete inspection records and reports and record data accordingly and accurately.
• Identify and report non-conformances. Follow non-conformance procedure and document acceptance after re-work or other approved repairs.
• Ideal candidate(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience
• Machining / plastic injection molding experience highly desired.
• Intermediate level technical ability. Expertise in ERP, Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
• Must have the ability to read blueprints and use all types of gages and measuring equipment.
• High school degree or GED
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

Shift: 2^nd (Monday through Friday 3 pm to 1130 pm) (OT as neeed)
