DPP is seeking a
Dimension Control Technician I for an opportunity for our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work location: Onsite in Palmdale, CA
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen; must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Day-to-day: - The Dimension Control Technician I will support our Assembly Tooling department.
- Will receive direct supervision from training personnel or their immediate supervisor.
- The duties and tasks are basic and repetitive.
- The position is performed in a training environment, where errors are corrected as part of the learning process.
- The worker’s interactions are primarily with immediate supervisors, training staff, and other new employees.
Required qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Must have the ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35 pounds.
- Ability to work inside and outside in a warehouse/shop floor environment.
- Ability to handle and assemble small parts and machinery.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Ability to work 10% overtime.
- Ability to work any shift.
