Digital Technology Data Scientist Lead

Pay Rate: $140K - $160K /10% bonus

Summary:

• Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Location: Oshkosh, WI or New Hudson, MI
• Shift: 3 days in office and 2 days remote
• Travel: less then 10%

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic vision, architectural design, and operational deployment of predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and AI solutions.
• Architect, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning models and applications.
• Establish coding, testing, evaluation, and documentation standards.
• Partner with Data Engineering and DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business challenges into data science initiatives.
• Define and prioritize the AI and analytics roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
• Articulate complex methodologies to executive stakeholders.
• Champion data integrity, security, and compliance with AI safety standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level data scientists.
• Foster an agile, delivery-focused environment.
• Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a related quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning models, and NLP.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud ecosystems and distributed compute systems.
• Knowledge of model tracking, containerization, and orchestration platforms.
• Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools.
