Digital Senior Specialist – Taxonomy & Product Data Governance
The Digital Senior Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the product taxonomy, attributes, and data structures that support all digital commerce systems. This role ensures product data is accurate, consistent, and ready for AI driven automation across PIM, marketplace, CMS, and search. This role will partner with Digital Merchants and cross functional teams to improve product discoverability, search relevance, and overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and optimize product taxonomy, attributes, and category structures across PIM, CMS, marketplace, and search systems.
• Create and govern new categories and attributes following established standards.
• Support AI enabled classification, enrichment, and automation by ensuring clean, structured product data.
• Partner with Merchandising, Marketplace, Content, and Search teams to improve navigation, filters, and product discoverability.
•Review site performance, analytics, and customer feedback to identify taxonomy related issues and opportunities.
• Identify system enhancements and collaborate with technical teams to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in e commerce, product attribution, taxonomy, or product data governance.
• Experience with PIM, marketplace category mapping, CMS content modeling, or search/filter tools.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, time and collaboration across teams.
