Description

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Digital Records Coordinator — Entry Level. In this full-time, remote role, you will help keep electronic records accurate, organized, and easy for authorized team members to find.

You will review incoming files, enter and update record details, apply consistent naming and indexing, and flag missing or conflicting information. This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys careful, structured work and clear communication. No degree or prior office experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Organize electronic documents using established folder structures and file-naming conventions
  • Enter and update record details accurately in approved systems and tracking spreadsheets
  • Review files for completeness, readability, duplicates, and inconsistent information
  • Apply document labels, categories, and indexing details according to team procedures
  • Retrieve requested records and share them only with authorized team members
  • Track outstanding items and follow up with colleagues to resolve missing information
  • Follow confidentiality, access, and records-retention procedures; escalate questions before changing or removing records
  • Communicate progress, issues, and completed work clearly to the team

Requirements

  • No degree or prior office experience required; zero months of required experience
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating folders, email, and web-based tools
  • Ability to enter information carefully and check work for accuracy
  • Ability to follow written instructions and learn document-management procedures
  • Clear written communication and willingness to ask questions when details are unclear
  • Organization and time-management skills for handling routine tasks and deadlines
  • Respect for confidential information and ability to follow access-control procedures
  • Ability to work remotely and communicate reliably during the agreed schedule
