Job Title: Digital Payments Operations Specialist
Location: Pensacola, FL, Vienna VA or Winchester VA
Type: Contract
Compensation: $23/hour W-2
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Hours: 11am-7:30pm shift

This is an 11AM-7:30PM Shift working hybrid out of either Pensacola Fl, Vienna VA or Winchester VA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related operational processes
• Understand and apply regulatory requirements, including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, and internal policies to mitigate operational and compliance risk
• Analyze complex payment scenarios, identify root causes, resolve exceptions efficiently, and make sound decisions while balancing member service, risk, and operational requirements
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and financial losses
• Effectively partner with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues, provide updates, and support operational objectives

Requirements

• Knowledge of payment operations including wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and faster payments
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as OFAC screening, fraud controls, BSA, and internal policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to resolve complex payment issues
• High attention to detail in reviewing payment and account documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
