About the Role
Parexel is looking for a scientist to join our Translational Medicine team. This role will support our Sponsors in project management and operational execution for Digital Pathology. You will coordinate cross-functional activities related to whole-slide image transfer, vendor follow-up, request tracking, process documentation, and stakeholder communications. Working closely with scientific team members and vendors, you will ensure Digital Pathology workflows are organized, compliant, and executed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functional activities related to Digital Pathology operations
Manage whole-slide image transfer and tracking
Follow-up with vendors and manage vendor relationships
Track requests and maintain request management systems
Document processes and maintain compliance standards
Communicate with stakeholders across scientific and operational teams
Work Environment
Location: Rahway, NJ (onsite)
Hybrid: 2-3 days per week onsite preferred.
Schedule: Full-time
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Clinical Trial Operations, Biomarker Operations, Lab Operations, Imaging, and Data Management
Experience with digital pathology
Experience in clinical trials
Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Life Sciences, Project Management, Clinical Operations, IT, Data Management, or related field
Strong organizational skills with experience tracking deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
Pharma/biotech industry experience
Experience with informed consent in clinical trials
Technical proficiency with:
Microsoft Lists
Power BI
SharePoint and Teams
AWS/S3-based workflows
LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
