Digital Media Specialist

We are currently seeking a Digital Media Specialist to support the development and execution of paid and organic social media marketing strategies across brand and product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the asset management industry and experience developing and executing successful social media campaigns targeting financial advisors, distribution partners, institutional investors, and other key audiences. This individual will play a key role in strengthening brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and supporting broader business objectives through data-driven social media strategies.

This is a 12+ month contract position, offering $30–36/hour depending on experience, and is based in Boston, MA, with an onsite requirement of four days per week.
 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive paid and organic social media strategies aligned with business objectives, with a focus on engaging wealth management and institutional audiences and driving content engagement.

• Partner with editorial, digital, and creative teams to develop engaging social media content tailored to target audiences using source materials such as articles, landing pages, infographics, videos, and podcasts.

• Manage and optimize the organization's presence across key social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and Meta, while monitoring incoming messages and inquiries and escalating issues as needed.

• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and social listening data to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and business teams to ensure an integrated approach to social media marketing while continuously refining strategies based on performance data, audience insights, and emerging trends.

• Stay informed of evolving social media trends, platform updates, tools, and best practices to maintain effective and innovative marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.

• 3–5 years of experience in social media strategy and management, preferably within the financial services or wealth management industry.

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, audience behaviors, and platform-specific best practices.

• Demonstrated experience developing, executing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for professional and financial audiences.

• Proficiency in Sprinklr or similar social media management and monitoring tools, such as Hootsuite or Meltwater.

• Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting social media performance metrics and website traffic data using tools such as Adobe Analytics to inform strategic decisions.
