Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist responsible for providing a deep understanding of digital marketing and emerging trends while fostering digital marketing maturity across the organization.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Plan, implement, measure, and report on owned digital channels and campaigns.
Partner with marketing team leaders to define and develop measurable digital objectives, strategies, and tactics that support business initiatives.
Develop, lead, and monitor statewide digital brand & marketing strategy to increase FCS's awareness, preference, consideration, and conversion.
Oversee various digital marketing-related functions and tasks including website support, including:
FLCancer.com Website/CMS support (WordPress); provide assistance with ideas on how to continuously improve our user experience design (UX experience).
Strategic search engine optimization (SEO) efforts through company website
Responsible for monitoring data and connecting keywords/phrases to performance in an effort to drive strategic content development (blog posts/articles/social posts).
In coordination with the Director of Marketing, assist with managing and assigning projects to external third-party digital vendors and agencies
Monitor, track, and report on various digital campaigns including, but not limited to, pay-per-click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), search engine management (SEM), brand and targeted display, YouTube campaigns, geofence, and social retargeting campaigns
Work in close partnership with internal and external design teams to ensure that the digital content produced is aligned with the overall brand
Establish a strong understanding of our target demographics and develop strategies that map content across multiple channels to the various stages of their patient/cancer/caretaker journey
Develop and execute strategic digital marketing recommendations, with organization-wide strategic impact.
Assist with all online reputation management (ORM) duties:
In coordination with the Director of Marketing, assist with managing external third-party online reputation management vendors and platforms
Respond to all reviews through our reputation platform
Create reports as needed
Assist with the monitoring and management of our Glassdoor and Indeed employee review sites
Respond to all reviews
Create reports for executive management as needed
Ensure organization webpages are kept up-to-date and populated with relevant content
Assist with management of our operations and consumer outreach platform (patient communication)
Working with our third-party vendor, ensure patient communications are in place when appropriate
Communicate vendor when new clinic locations are developed or there is a relocation
Help with scripting for SMS and phone reminders
Obtain reports and create analysis for senior management team
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
This role requires a highly organized person with ability to be flexible within changing priorities, possess strong communication skills and have attention to detail.
