Role OverviewThe Omni-Channel Strategist serves as a dedicated point-of-contact for a brand, their creative, digital and media agencies, ensuring seamless planning and execution of omni-channel campaigns/tactics aligned to the brand strategy.
Direct and manage production budgets across a portfolio of brands or therapeutic areas, ensuring prudent allocation of resources aligned with strategic priorities.
Lead comprehensive financial forecasting processes, including the development of accurate year-end projections to support annual brand planning cycles.
Monitor budget utilization in real time, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:• Translates customer and journey insights into actionable omnichannel plan for brand execution, including understanding the content needs of key customers for channel plan development and optimization
• Draft and deliver creative briefs and other necessary requirements documentation to support the development of branded and unbranded digital programs
• Collaborate with Business Insights & Analytics to ensure KPI identification, measurement plans, and ongoing reporting/optimization of media/digital programs based on insights and analytics
• Drive innovation by partnering with Brands, external partners and capability leads to develop innovative new digital or AI initiatives
• Partner with the Brand, digital agencies, media partners and the BMS Production team to define project strategy, scope, timelines, and deliverables
• If needed, lead internal MLR review processes and work with external partners to ensure timely and accurate preparation of digital programs (e.g., CRM, third-party programs, HCP media, websites, mobile, eMail, social media, SEO/SEM, IVA, Field-Trigger e-mails, etc.)
• If needed, lead pull through digital tactics and media programs that drive business impact
• Monitor overall status and provide regular reporting on progress, challenges, and solutions of the Omnichannel plan including execution
• Demonstrated ability to track and manage annual digital programs
• Flex coverage across team on as-needed basis
Cross-Functional Collaboration & PlanningPartner with Capability Leads, Brand Teams, and Omnichannel Strategists to design and execute integrated campaign plans.
Coordinate resource planning and scheduling to ensure alignment between strategic intent and executional capacity.
Serve as a key liaison across matrix teams, fostering alignment, transparency, and shared accountability.
Content Governance & Regulatory OversightAct as the primary project owner and advocate during MLR review meetings, facilitating real-time resolution of medical, legal, and regulatory considerations.
Ensure that all marketing assets adhere to compliance standards, corporate policies, and industry regulations.
Champion the integrity and traceability of derivative content throughout its lifecycle, from creation to final deployment.
Operational Execution & Quality AssuranceOversee end-to-end project workflows, including timelines, deliverables, and production milestones.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance (QA) reviews and spot checks across digital and print materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Ensure the timely deployment of tactical marketing initiatives, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Vendor & Agency Management
Cultivate and manage relationships with external agencies and production partners, ensuring high performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines.
Oversee vendor onboarding, performance evaluation, contract adherence, and invoicing processes.
Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize output quality and efficiency.
Asset & Platform Management- Maintain oversight of asset management systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and effective tracking of content lifecycle activities.
- Leverage and optimize enterprise platforms such as Workfront, Veeva Vault, Veeva Promomats, Salesforce, Jira, and related tools to enhance workflow visibility and efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation, version control, and accessibility of all marketing assets.
Process Optimization & Innovation- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance scalability.
- Support the adoption and enablement of AI-driven tools and automation technologies to improve content personalization and delivery speed.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of operating models and best practices within the organization.
Logistics & Inventory Management- Oversee inventory levels and distribution logistics for printed materials, ensuring readiness for product launches and campaign activations.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track inventory usage, supply levels, and fulfillment needs.
Must-have Qualifications:- Strategic Minded
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and acting off of digital analytics
- General digital proficiency; an understanding of the current landscape so that strategies can be formulated to serve the brand’s strategic imperatives
Nice-to-have Qualifications:- This is a digital role, so obviously Office (especially Excel) is mandatory, Analytics platforms including AA and Tableau for starters
- Experience with AI Tools/Copilot to support work productivity and optimization
