The Accessibility Analyst will work within a cross-functional experience design team alongside UX designers, content strategists, developers, and product teams to create inclusive and accessible digital solutions for customers. This role requires a strong balance of technical accessibility expertise and design collaboration. The individual will ensure accessibility is incorporated early in the design phase and validated throughout development and testing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility and usability are integrated into React-based web application solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate with UX designers during the design phase to ensure accessibility requirements are embedded before development begins.
  • Review designs, wireframes, and digital experiences to identify accessibility concerns early in the lifecycle.
  • Conduct accessibility audits and assessments for enterprise-scale web applications and digital products.
  • Perform manual and automated accessibility testing and validation.
  • Work closely with development teams to address accessibility challenges and support compliant implementation practices.
  • Inspect rendered browser code and identify accessibility violations and remediation opportunities.
  • Analyze source code (including GitHub repositories) to evaluate accessibility compliance.
  • Provide accessibility specifications, annotations, and documentation for development teams.
  • Assist developers in resolving accessibility defects and preventing accessibility bugs.
  • Provide remediation recommendations and accessibility guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Advocate for inclusive design and accessible customer experiences across enterprise platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience performing accessibility testing, audits, and analysis for digital products and web applications.
  • Strong understanding of ADA standards and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience conducting manual and automated accessibility testing.
  • Required hands-on experience with screen reader testing tools:
  • JAWS
  • NVDA
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience inspecting browser-rendered code and identifying accessibility violations.
  • Experience working with source code repositories such as GitHub.
  • Experience testing large-scale enterprise web applications (React experience strongly preferred).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with UX design and development teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to explain accessibility issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accessibility certifications such as WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist) are preferred but not required.
  • Experience testing enterprise-scale applications built in React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working within UX or Experience Design organizations.
  • Broader familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies.
  • Banking and financial services experience is not required, but experience testing similar large-scale enterprise applications is highly valuable.
