Job Title: Digital Executive Producer - WSB TV
Position Overview
The Digital Executive Producer at WSB TV in Atlanta, Georgia will lead our digital content strategy and daily execution across all digital platforms, including web, app, social media, streaming, connected TV, and emerging platforms.
The EP is responsible for day-to-day decision-making, and will be an expert at story selection, headline writing, social media, vertical video production, SEO, AP Style writing and editing, and breaking news for a digital audience. The Digital Executive Producer will oversee a team of digital producers and content creators while working closely with newsroom managers, executive producers, reporters, photographers, and assignment editors to ensure our journalism reaches audiences wherever they consume news. This position requires strong editorial judgment, advanced digital storytelling skills, deep audience development expertise, and a proven ability to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. The EP will understand the unique competences and audience consumption preferences of owned platforms and third-party digital platforms. You should be fluent in at least one CMS and have experience with audience signaling tools.
The ideal candidate is a newsroom leader who understands the evolving media landscape, can balance audience growth with journalistic excellence, has strong people skills and can manage others to drive best-in-class digital news coverage.
