The Communications Division with ODFW is hiring for a full-time permanent Digital Engagement Coordinator at our headquarters office located in Salem, Oregon. Step into a role where your digital storytelling truly makes an impact!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, all applicants must meet one of the following options:
Option 1: Five years experience directly related to the position under recruitment; two of the five years must have been at the professional level.
Option 2: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, the Behavioral or Social Sciences or related degree and two years professional level experience in Public Relations or Affairs;
What we are looking for the following experience in our ideal candidate:
Able to read the moment, understand nuance, and make smart, timely decisions that keep conversations productive-even when things get fast‑moving or tense.
Comfortable developing fresh, engaging content that meets agency priorities and connects with diverse audiences across multiple platforms.
Confident navigating complex, controversial or politically sensitive situations online, including responding thoughtfully to unhappy customers or members of the public.
Stays current with evolving social media trends, tools, and best practices, bringing new ideas forward to keep the agency's digital presence modern and effective.
Works seamlessly with the communications team, contributing to planning efforts and helping staff access the information and channels they need to support agency programs.
