We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Digital Dental Lab Technician opportunity at NDX H&O Dental Laboratory in Manchester, NH

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Completely read all paperwork in the pan including, but not limited to the prescription and work ticket. Clarify all questions with your manager
  • Confirm that all items needed are present and in suitable condition
  • Complete cases according to work ticket schedule, notify manager of late cases
  • Perform all aspects of IOS case download and management
  • Inspect all models and dies to verify items are suitable for scanning
  • Ability to scan models and impressions (and calibrate scanners)
  • Ability to scan implant cases and seat abutments / scan bodies
  • Perform quality control (QC) of designs i.e., providing proper function and aesthetics
  • Generate CAMs
  • Ability to send files through ECT and to manufacturer partners
  • Ability to design, nest, print, and post-process models
  • Ability to nest and mill zirconia, wax, PMMA, etc.
  • Ability to remove milled units from material pucks
  • Place units back onto dies, back onto models
  • Return items to proper pan
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
  • Manipulate small items and hand tools
  • Operate mills, printers, light curing units, steam cleaner, etc.
  • Clean work area daily with a more thorough cleaning at the end of the week

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Strong ability to comprehend and execute on both written and verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and oral anatomy
  • Strong knowledge of computers
  • Strong knowledge of 3shape Dental System
  • Knowledge of materials
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination
  • High level of organizational skill with the ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information
  • Ability to collaborate with all team members
  • Strong critical thinking skills for problem solving

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
  • This technician has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in CAD / CAM production

  • Mills, 3D printers, light curing units, dental resins, alcohol, steam cleaner, motorized hand piece/lathe

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long durations of time
  • Repetitive movement with a computer mouse
  • Spend extended time in front of a computer screen
  • Produce cases as per published time schedules and required number of units
