Job Title: Digital Content Producer - KIRO TV
Position Overview
KIRO 7 News is seeking a Digital Content Center Producer to help drive audience growth, maximize engagement, and lead our digital-first news strategy.
This role is central to how we cover breaking news, elevate enterprise journalism, and connect with audiences across web, mobile, OTT, search, and social platforms.
The ideal candidate is an expert in digital audience development, SEO, and content optimization, with strong editorial judgment and exceptional writing and editing skills. They understand how audiences discover news, what drives engagement and loyalty, and how to use analytics to make real-time content decisions. They thrive in fast-moving news environments, know how to identify high-impact stories, and can quickly adapt coverage strategies based on audience trends and performance data.
This is a hands-on, on-site role within the Content Center. Digital Content Center Producers collaborate closely with reporters, producers, photographers, and newsroom leadership to ensure KIRO 7 is first, fastest, and most accurate online while continuously expanding our digital audience and strengthening our position as Western Washingtons leading local news source.

The wage scale for this position is $24.75 per hour to $35.21 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors such as skills, certifications, and relevant work experience.
