Job Summary
Woodland Gourmet is seeking a Digital Commerce Marketplace Manager to own our customers digital journey-understanding how customers discover, evaluate, and buy from us, and building the technologies, tools, and processes that make every touchpoint seamless.
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role. You will map and own the end-to-end customer journey across all digital touchpoints-our website, customer portal, B2B/B2C eCommerce platform, Amazon, direct ship platform, LinkedIn, and more-setting the vision and standards for how customers experience Woodland Gourmet online.
You will develop and execute the tech stack, tools, and strategies that maximize revenue, enhance customer experience and engagement, and streamline every step of the journey-partnering closely with marketing, IT, and customer service to deliver a seamless, cohesive experience from first discovery through purchase and beyond. By leveraging data analytics and consumer insights, youll shape decisions on product offerings, pricing, and promotions that drive growth and profitability.
Youll bring both strategic judgment and a builders instinct-equally comfortable identifying the right platforms, managing implementation, and setting a multi-year platform roadmap as you are rolling up your sleeves to fix a broken listing, backed by clean data and a modern, AI-enabled approach to how work gets done.
This is a builder role with real ownership-strategy through execution, across every digital touchpoint.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Journey & Owned Digital Channels
B2B/B2C eCommerce Platform Strategy, Sourcing & Implementation
Lead end-to-end RFP process for selecting a B2B/B2C eCommerce platform
Define business requirements, use cases, and success criteria
Evaluate leading platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce)
Partner with internal stakeholders to align on technical and commercial needs
Own platform selection recommendation and business case
Lead implementation, onboarding, and go-live of selected platform
Define roadmap for customer experience, self-service tools, pricing logic, and account management
Drive adoption and continuous optimization post-launch

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000. This position is eligible for an annual bonus (based on the incentive program terms and conditions). Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferable skills, the company will determine, at its discretion, the hourly rate offered and will reflect the market conditions and cost of living for your geographic location.
