Working in close partnership with Unilever, WPP Unite brings together specialist capabilities and talent to help drive more connected planning, activation and performance across the business.

The Integrated Demand Office is designed to evolve Unilever's Walmart partnership from traditional executional support into a fully integrated growth system connecting planning, content, supply chain and performance in real time. These roles will be recruited and employed by WPP Unite and embedded within Unilever's team, working closely with Unilever, Walmart and WPP Unite stakeholders to support connected planning, demand-to-supply integration, agile activation and continuous performance optimization.

About the Role

The dCom Category Lead will own the day-to-day digital commerce performance of Unilever's Deodorants portfolio on Walmart.com. This individual will identify and activate digital growth opportunities across content, search, merchandising, conversion and product availability.

The role will work closely with Unilever's digital commerce organization, Walmart stakeholders and WPP Unite media and retail marketing teams to ensure category priorities are translated into a consistent, high-performing digital shelf experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and monitor Deodorants category performance and key digital commerce metrics on Walmart.com.
  • Identify opportunities to improve traffic, search visibility, conversion, content quality and digital availability.
  • Optimize product detail pages, brand shops, category content and other digital shelf experiences.
  • Partner with Search Strategists to align category priorities, keyword strategies, SKU focus and media investment.
  • Collaborate with Walmart digital merchandising and Unilever field sales teams to identify and resolve performance barriers.
  • Ensure digital content and assets are accurate, complete and available in advance of product launches and priority activations.
  • Monitor competitive activity, category trends and shopper behavior across Walmart's digital environment.
  • Support early launches, digital-first programs and other retailer-specific commerce opportunities.
  • Establish performance feedback loops with media, retail marketing, supply chain and brand teams.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure online activity is aligned with broader in-store, merchandising and category plans.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in digital commerce, e-commerce management, online retail operations or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing product detail pages, digital content and digital shelf performance.
  • Strong understanding of conversion, search visibility, availability and other digital commerce KPIs.
  • Experience working with Walmart.com, Walmart Connect or comparable retailer platforms is strongly preferred.
  • CPG category experience, ideally within personal care, beauty or Deodorants.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into clear actions.
  • Experience working across media, merchandising, sales, content and supply-chain teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Results-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000
