Job Title: Digital Business Analyst
Location-Type: Onsite in Houston, TX (4 days/week) - Must be in Houston!
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: Contract (through EOY with potential extension/convert)
Compensation Range: $40-64/hour
Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K

Job Description:
Provides advanced project portfolio analysis, reporting, and system administration support, primarily focused on Planview PPM and SharePoint to drive portfolio governance and delivery excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Administer and configure Planview Portfolios (PPM), including user access, workflows, and reporting dashboards
  • Manage portfolio data governance and ensure data quality across projects
  • Prepare portfolio status reports, forecasts, and executive-level summaries
  • Analyze project risks, dependencies, and resource allocations; provide recommendations
  • Create, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and permissions
  • Support project delivery by applying PM best practices and improving processes
  • Track and resolve tool and process-related issues across teams
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance to team members
  • Monitor workflows and recommend continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:
    • Expert-level experience with Planview Portfolios (PPM) administration and configuration
    • Advanced SharePoint experience (site creation, permissions, architecture, maintenance)
    • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, risk)
    • Experience supporting portfolio governance and executive reporting
    • Proficiency in project budgeting and financial analysis
    • Experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master
    • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Planview Administrator certification
    • PMP, Scrum, or Business Analysis certification
    • Experience with portfolio-level forecasting and resource planning
    • Background in process improvement and training development
