    Job Summary

    The Digital Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and generating digital invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role supports revenue recognition processes and maintains proper documentation for invoicing activities.

    The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing. This is a hybrid work position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare, enter, and generate digital invoices using billing and financial systems

    • Review assigned campaigns to ensure billing data matches insertion orders

    • Evaluate and finalize revenue in compliance with GAAP and SOX policies

    • Complete invoice revisions as necessary

    • Save and distribute invoices to agencies and clients

    • Maintain accurate documentation and supporting data

    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters

    • Assist with additional projects as needed

    Qualifications

    Education:
    Preferably a two-year degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting knowledge

    Experience:
    Accounting experience with knowledge of revenue recognition principles

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet applications such as Excel

    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

    • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

    • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

    • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment

    • Understanding of basic accounting and revenue recognition principles
