Digital Analyst

These solutions are data-driven and complex, requiring the ability to interpret business rules, validate system behavior, and support audit and compliance activities. Supports issue triage, defect investigation, and coordination with business, IT, and vendor teams to analyze and resolve issues.

Our client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst for their Detroit, MI/ Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing solution requirements, testing against those requirements, logging results, and reviewing outcomes with involved teams.
• Participates in daily standup meetings and may lead discussions related to solution delivery and operational support.
• Supports issue triage, defect investigation, and coordination with business, IT, and vendor teams to analyze and resolve issues.
• These solutions are data-driven and complex, requiring the ability to interpret business rules, validate system behavior, and support audit and compliance activities.

 
Requirements:

• Self-starter that requires little oversight in performing responsibilities when assigned work.
• Strong communicator with the ability to clearly articulate things in an individual or group conversation with the ability to lead meetings, etc.
• Detail oriented with analytical skills.
• Ability to understand what is being tested and apply logic to what is being returned in the results.
• Actively will raise questions, concerns, and recommendations.
• System testing – functional, negative, and operational support etc.
• Strong documentation skills including tracking and ability to report out on testing results and issue triaging
• Problem solving skills – ability to identify themes and be able to derive patterns within the results
• Cross-functional collaboration - ability to coordinate work across business, IT, operational, and vendor teams.
• Healthcare experience
• System related experience related to cost would be a nice to have
• Technical (acumen)
• Medical billing and coding experience would be nice to have
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical areas
