Qualifications

School Served: Holmes Primary School (K-2)

Qualifications:

• Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed for teaching at the K-5 level, required.
• One of the following endorsements preferred: ESL, ENL, or Bilingual
• Three years of successful teaching experience at the K-5 level within the past five years, required.
• Successful experience collaborating with teachers to enhance their professional practice through leading professional development sessions, modeling high-leverage strategies, and individual coaching, required.
• Strong interpersonal relations, communication, problem solving, leadership and organizational skills, required.
• Knowledge of, and experience implementing, best instructional practices for EL learners required, required.

Job Goal: The Differentiation Specialist is responsible for advancing student growth and achievement in all content areas by providing a continuum of support for all students. The Differentiation Specialist provides individual and small group instruction to students, and supports the general education teacher in the delivery of high-leverage Tier 1 instructional strategies.

Salary/Benefits

Salary: In accordance with Contract Bargaining Agreement.
