Support daily cafeteria operations by preparing ingredients, serving meals, assisting customers, and handling cashier duties. You'll help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area while ensuring food is prepared and served according to safety and quality standards. Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food service or culinary training is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Previous food preparation, cafeteria, or food service experience preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience beneficial.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.

Job Duties

• Prepare and portion food following recipes and guidelines.
• Wash, cut, and prepare fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Serve meals and keep food stations stocked.
• Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide accurate change.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Clean kitchen equipment, workstations, counters, and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment.
• Restock food items, beverages, and cafeteria supplies.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with additional duties as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive food preparation and cleaning tasks.
