    Pay: $19 - $21.00 per hour/ DOE

    Position Summary
    We are seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing nutritious, appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements
    • Ensure food is cooked, held, and stored at proper temperatures
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
    • Follow portion control standards and food safety guidelines
    • Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets
    • Assist with inventory management and ordering of food supplies

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing facility
    • Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
