What you'll do:

• prepare ingredients and cook meals according to menu standards and dietary requirements

• follow established recipes, portion guidelines, quality expectations, and presentation standards

• support meal service by coordinating with dietary staff and ensuring timely, accurate plating

• maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area

• follow all sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures

• monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership

• assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and closing duties as needed

• contribute to a positive, resident-focused dining experience every shift

What you'll bring:

• 1+ year of experience as a cook or in a similar food service role

• strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• basic math skills for portioning and recipe adjustments

• ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently

• must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule

• high school diploma or GED preferred

• successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
