Scandi Haven assisted living is looking to hire or train a cook.
```Duties```- Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes and dietary restrictions- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner- Monitor food quality and presentation- Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and ensure dietary requirements are met- Assist with meal service and clean-up as needed
```Requirements```- Previous experience in food production or culinary arts preferred- Strong customer service skills- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment- Excellent time management skills- Familiarity with assisted living or hospital food service regulations is a plus- Ability to handle food safely and maintain a clean work environment- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
