Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and friendly Dietary Aide to join our food service team.
This position plays an important role in preparing and serving meals while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation, food service, and tray assembly.
- Prepare and deliver resident meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
- Serve meals and beverages while providing friendly, respectful service.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces.
- Stock food, supplies, and serving areas as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
- Work with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident nutritional needs.
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents and coworkers.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
