Brenwood Park Assisted Living is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our community.

Pay Range: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

The Dietary Aide plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents by providing efficient, timely, and friendly service. This position assists with meal service, food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and sanitary dining environment. The Dietary Aide supports the dining team in meeting and exceeding resident expectations while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and meal service for residents and guests.
  • Set up, serve, and clear dining areas before and after meals.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, dining rooms, and dishwashing areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal service.
  • Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service.
  • Work collaboratively with cooks and other dietary team members to provide an exceptional dining experience.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Dining Services Director or Supervisor.

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.
  • Strong commitment to resident satisfaction and quality service.
  • Required CBRF Certifications: Standard Precautions First Aid & Choking Fire Safety
