Dietary Aide/Cook

Cook

You'll be an integral part of our team, prepping, cooking, and plating dishes with a smile. If you're a dedicated, enthusiastic, and organized individual who loves to prepare and cook delicious food in a family oriented, fun loving community setting , then you're exactly who we're looking for.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with the planned menu.
• Record accurate temperatures.
• Follow the cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
• Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation.
• Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents.
• Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Scrape, wash, and put away dishes.
• Follow proper safety protocol.
• Other duties assigned by the manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a facility of 50+ residents.
• Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk for required shifts.
• Must have current Safe Serv Food Handler's certification or willing to receive.
• Apply basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position.
• Requires knowledge of all kitchen equipment.

This job is ideal for someone who is dependable & reliable, people-oriented -(enjoys interacting with people), and autonomous/independent - (enjoys working with little direction).
