We are seeking several Experienced Diesel Mechanics for our facility in Trenton, NJ, to perform repairs on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and
buses. The ideal technician should have 3 - 5 years of experience performing fleet repairs on commercial heavy-duty diesel trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and
electrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.
- Perform routine
maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter
replacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internal
engine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds.
- Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-duty
vehicles and trailers.
- Use computer diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections and
tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate records
of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications:
- 3 -
5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic
- Cummins
certification is nice to have, but not a requirement.
- Proven
experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel
engine systems and components.
- Proficiency
with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong
problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent
communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
$67,000 - $78,000 annually
