SUMMARY
Prepare students for gainful employment in various positions in the diesel technology industry. Instruct the students in the proper use of hand tools used in the repair of diesel engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, and suspension/brakes. Teach students how to operate equipment used in the diagnosis and repair of diesel technology. As many of the duties will be supervising groups of students without benefit of additional help or administrative supervision, the job requires significant self-discipline, internal motivation, and sound judgment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overall supervision of students in class. May be assigned supervision of Work Study/Work Arrangement Students. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing student's work.
