Diesel Technician
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience diagnosing and repairing over-the-road diesel trucks and trailers. Minimum of three years of diesel repair experience required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair over-the-road diesel trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventive maintenance services.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, suspension, exhaust, and drivetrain systems.
- Perform DOT inspections.
- Diagnose, repair, and adjust air brake systems.
- Mount and dismount heavy-duty truck and trailer components.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of diesel repair experience.
- Experience using diagnostic software.
- Working knowledge of:
- Cummins Insite
- CAT ET
- Paccar diagnostic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
