Diesel Technician (Direct Hire)

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Mechanic to repair and maintain Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain routine preventative maintenance and safety related repairs on all vehicles and mobile equipment
  
• Respond and assist drivers in over the road emergency mechanical breakdowns
  
• Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems including component failures and repairs
  
• Welding
  

• High School Diploma or GED
  
• Diesel engine/heavy equipment mechanic experience
  
• Welding/Torch experience
  
• Ability to perform DOT safety regulated repairs
