In this role, you will provide expert diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel engines and related systems at customer locations, ensuring minimal downtime and superior customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of diesel engines and associated components.
- Travel to various customer locations with fully equipped mobile tools and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Provide detailed explanations and recommendations to customers regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and document all services performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working in diverse environments.
- Manage time efficiently to meet or exceed weekly minimum earnings goals.
- Stay updated with the latest diesel technology and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel technician, preferably with mobile service experience.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills on diesel engines and related systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Certification in diesel technology or related fields is preferred..
