•Repair and maintain vehicles and diesel equipment
•Maintain fleet operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicledeficiencies; adjustments and alignments; keeping accurate records
•Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by the DOT, company and any otherFederal, State, or Local regulations
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs such as brakes, air systems, air condition repairs etc.
•Engine diagnostics using computers
•Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacture's specifications and legislated regulations •Valid and clean CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
•Minimum five (5) years’ experience working for a fuel company as a diesel truck mechanic
•Expert in diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
•Interpret work orders and technical manuals
•Flexible work schedule, including extended hours, as necessary
•Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
•The ability to work alone or as a team
•The ability to keep up with changing technology and updates
