This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the trucks, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment that keep our pavement marking and traffic control operations running.If you have strong troubleshooting skills, can work independently, and take pride in quality repairs, we'd like to hear from you.About America's Parking RemarkingAmerica's Parking Remarking provides pavement marking and traffic control services. Whether it's 500 feet or 500 miles, we get the job done safely, properly, and on time.What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and specialized equipment.Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, hoses, and components.Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.Inspect and repair hydraulic and air brake systems.Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.Maintain proper fluid levels, tire pressures, and other preventative maintenance items.Travel to jobsites for mobile repairs when needed.Maintain accurate service and repair records.Keep the shop and work areas clean, organized, and safe.What We're Looking For3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar fleet/equipment mechanic role.High School Diploma or equivalent.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trucks, and equipment.Experience diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems.Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.Welding and fabrication experience preferred.Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.Experience with construction, pavement marking, traffic control, or other specialized equipment is a plus.Why Join APR?Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffProfessional Development & Career GrowthHands-on work with specialized pavement marking and traffic control equipmentLocal team backed by the strength and resources of Road Safety ServicesIf you're an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking for a long-term opportunity where your skills directly support field operations, apply today and join the APR team!America's Parking Remarking is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
