Description
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage or malfunctions
Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brake systems
Review work orders and collaborate with supervisors to discuss tasks
Use checklists to ensure all key parts are inspected, along with other potentially problematic areas
Plan work procedures utilizing charts, technical manuals, and hands-on experience
Communicate effectively with drivers to diagnose vehicle issues
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services
Repair both manual and automatic transmissions
Replace and adjust headlights as needed
Comply with all safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Maintain cleanliness in the shop and surrounding areas

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of recent medium/heavy diesel maintenance experience
Must have own hand tools
Basic computer skills
CDL license preferred
Clean driving record with proven work history
Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
