We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic (Road Technician) to provide mobile maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services for commercial trucks and fleet equipment throughout the region.
Lowell, MA $25.00-$40.00 per hour + On-Call Earning Opportunities | Full-Time
Schedule:
First and second shift opportunities available:
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
- 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
Flexibility is required, as technicians may occasionally need to remain on-site to complete customer repairs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel-powered trucks and equipment at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete service reports and work orders accurately
- Provide professional customer service while representing the company in the field
Qualifications
- Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
- Must provide basic mechanic hand and power tools
- Specialized tools are provided by the company
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00-$40.00/hour, depending on experience
