Anson County Landfill in Polkton, NC has an immediate opening for a safety-minded Diesel Mechanic who takes pride in maintaining equipment and helping keep our drivers and communities safe.
What You'll Do
+ Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment.
+ Repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
+ Utilize vehicle diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues.
+ Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
+ Complete maintenance documentation using fleet software.
+ Test drive equipment after repairs.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
+ Minimum 2 years of experience required performing diesel equipment diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
+ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
+ Basic mechanic tool set.
+ Class B CDL, preferred but not required
+ Hydraulic experience is a plus.
