Diesel Mechanic

An experienced Diesel Mechanic is needed for immediate hire at our diesel truck repair shop in Brockport, New York. Maintain dump trucks, tractor trucks, trailers, and some campers/RV's. This is a busy operation with internal fleet repair and a retail aspect working with outside customers. We are seeking a seeking a technician to conduct services, preventative maintenance, bumper to bumper repair, and state inspections. Perfect if you are looking to work on a variety of heavy duty vehicles at a proven outfit with decades of continued success.

Compensation:

• $25.00 - $35.00/hour to start with some flexibility based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Day shift, 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday). Some OT and occasional Saturday's.
• Perform oil changes, brake changes and adjustments.
• Maintaining engine, transmission, steering, and suspension systems.
• Keeping detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. 
• Completing accurate work orders.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures within the shop

Qualifications:

• Prior heavy truck maintenance experience.
• Past experiencing maintaining diesel and mechanical systems on heavy duty vehicles.
• Interest in obtaining a Commercial Driver's License.
• Interest in obtaining a NYS Heavy Duty Inspection License
