    Compensation:

    • $30/hour


    Job Responsibilities:

    As a Certified Diesel Mechanic, you’ll:

    • Maintain advanced knowledge of vehicle components and systems, performing complex repairs both on-site and on the road.
    • Repair and maintain chassis components, refuse bodies (including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems), air and hydraulic braking systems, engine, suspension, drivetrain, steering, heating and air conditioning systems, and more.
    • Use electronic tools to diagnose and identify malfunctions.
    • Complete company training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
    • Ability to perform inspections and repairs independently in areas such as suspensions, steering, general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
    • ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.


    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 75-100 pounds.
    • Must be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions.
    • Must be able to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl to access units as needed.
