    Diesel Mechanic – Missoula, MT

    Heavy Duty Truck Tech | Monday–Friday


    If you know your way around Class 6–8 trucks, can diagnose problems without someone holding your hand, and want to work in a clean shop with solid people — keep reading.


    We’re hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician in Missoula, Montana. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable company that’s been around for decades, not some fly-by-night operation.


    You’ll be working in a modern, well-equipped shop with good airflow, good equipment, and a crew that understands how to get work done without drama.


    Pay

    • $30–$42/hr depending on experience, diagnostics ability, and overall skill level.
    • If you’re worth more, the company is willing to talk.

    Schedule

    • Monday–Friday
    • No nights. No weekends

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks (Class 6–8)
    • Troubleshoot electrical, engine, hydraulic, HVAC, brake, suspension, and drivetrain issues
    • Handle repairs efficiently and correctly the first time
    • Work independently but still be part of a solid shop team
    • Keep your bay clean and safe

    What They’re Looking For

    • 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel repair experience
    • Strong diagnostics skills
    • Somebody dependable who shows up ready to work
    • Ability to move in a fast-paced shop without cutting corners
    • CDL is a plus, not required
