Join SAVARD Personnel Group – where your skills are valued!We're seeking an experienced  Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager to lead our in-house maintenance shop. This hands-on leadership role oversees heavy equipment maintenance, shop operations, mechanics, inventory, and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shop mechanics and daily maintenance operations.
• Diagnose and assist with complex diesel, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
• Schedule and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee parts ordering, inventory, vendors, and purchasing.
• Track maintenance costs, work orders, and service records.
• Coordinate equipment availability with operations.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized shop.

Requirements

• 5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience.
• Leadership or shop management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Experience managing parts inventory, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Computer proficiency and valid driver's license required.

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Some weekends
