Position Summary:

Honey Creek Staffing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Knoxville, TN! The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for all duties related to heavy duty Diesel Engine Diagnosis, and repairs. Please apply here or directly on our website today! Diesel Mechanic #26-00018

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment
  • Repair Heavy Truck & Trailer
  • Tire maintenance and repairs
  • May be required to test drive equipment if certified
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain a proactive work environment
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic performing vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools from simple wrenches to pneumatic tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have valid driver's license
